To explain how this works, within the initial 12 months, your fees will go towards the support and expansion of the network and pay off any fees that may have been incurred by us to gather the resources to host your service.

Once past the initial 12 months, your charges will drop to a simple utility fee for electrical consumption and will be maintained at this price point based on utility fees.

In 2017, ShockNet came into existence; starting out as purely a web-based method of transferring files quickly and easily to external locations over the internet. Often methods for transferring files between people was complicated and using a web server helped solve this issue making file transfers easier. Over time however, ShockNet slowly started to evolve and develop new pages and features to the site as a place to test out new ideas and concepts.

One of the many ideas around the site that was implemented, is its compatibility and adaptability to work on any and all devices no matter the screen size. Initially when developing the site, research was done and various other web sites were looked at to compare the way they looked and handled displays of different sizes.

Smartphones were the first issue and as such, the site was targeted at being compatible to work on these devices first. The issue with these devices is that they have small high density displays that rescales the website to allow the user to easily see the content without discomfort. This gave a base to work with, a maximum width content could be in order to display properly on smartphones that could scale larger on desktops and other devices.

Desktops were the next focus of attention; At the time, we operated a development system with a display width equal to 3x 1080p displays side by side. the first immediate realization was that virtually no web page on the internet was capable of utilizing this sort of display width effectively. This of course led to the development of our site moving expressly away from the original webpage stance and operating a more dynamic site page.

Our current most recent attention has been on the progression and development of our store; This of course contains a variety of store types targeting a variety of customers.
